一招：看外观

广大市民在购买消防器材时，除了查看消防器材厂家的营业执照是否合法外，还要详查消防产品的外观。正规消防产品表面及包装应有清晰、耐久的标志，包括产品标志和质量检验标志。产品标志应包括消防器材生产厂家、名称型号、技术系数、商标编号等。

查看消防器材是否有检验报告或认证证书。目前，实行强制性产品认证的消防产品有4类12种，包括消防车、火灾报警设备、消防水带和喷水灭火设备。实行消防产品形式认可制度的消防产品有9类，包括灭火剂、防火门、消火栓、消防接口、灭火器、消防枪炮、可燃气体探测报警产品、防火阻燃材料等。群众在购买消防器材时要向销售单位索要相应的检验报告及认证证书。如果不能提供正式检验报告和认证证书，其销售的可能是假冒伪劣产品。

消防器材的效果可以通过简单测试来鉴别，如消防应急照明灯和疏散指示标志灯外观明显位置上贴有防伪的红色“S”身份证标识，或者测试在断电后是否能5秒内投入到应急状态，持续供电时间不应少于90分钟。

消防器材的产品质量对后期使用非常关键，如购买水枪、接口等消防产品时，可现场进行一下跌落试验，将产品从高度2米左右的空中自然向硬质地面自由落体三次左右，如发生裂痕，则为不合格消防产品。
